Overview

A warm, inclusive women’s coffee meet-up where maternal figures come together to share, uplift, and support one another

Women’s Circle: Love Languages & Motherhood

A free, warm, and inclusive meet-up for women to connect through motherhood—centred on love, upliftment, and mutual support.

This gentle coffee meet-up takes place at the lovely Yummzy Cafe, a welcoming space offering a variety of treats and drinks, including healthier options and dietary-friendly choices. It’s a relaxed setting where you can feel nourished while connecting with others and the lovely owners have kindly agrred to provid us with a discount on treats and non-alcoholic drinks from their cafe.

About the meet-up...

Motherhood was never meant to be a solo journey.

This circle is a space for women to come together to share, listen, and support one another with kindness and care. Whether you’re expecting, raising little ones, or bringing the wisdom of grandmotherhood, you are welcome here.

At its heart, this is a space focused on showing love in action—through presence, conversation, encouragement, and simply being together.

We also shape each meet-up around the real topics and themes that women bring up during meet-ups, along with feedback shared over time. This helps ensure the conversations stay relevant, supportive, and genuinely useful for everyone who attends.

From time to time, we also guests to join us and share more specialised knowledge—this may include areas such as nutrition, exercise, breastfeeding, baby sleep, emotional wellbeing, or other topics connected to motherhood and wellbeing.

What to Expect

A small, intimate, and relaxed meet-up—more like a friendly coffee meet-up than a formal workshop.

Each session includes:

  • A warm welcome and gentle check-in

  • Open sharing and reflection (or simply listening if you prefer)

  • Connection over coffee and refreshments

  • Optional light wellbeing practices

  • A non-judgemental, pressure-free environment

Each circle is loosely guided by themes inspired by love languages, rest, self-care, and nurturing relationships across motherhood and caregiving.

A guest (often a wellness practitioner or woman with lived experience) may join to sit in the circle, share insights, or simply be part of the conversation.

Who It’s For

This circle welcomes women at all stages of the maternal journey:

  • Expecting mothers

  • Mothers with or without their babies

  • Women seeking uplifting connection, care, and community

Come exactly as you are—there is no right way to show up here.

Why This Space Exists

Created and facilitated by Thaisa, a local mother and women’s wellness practitioner, this circle was born from a desire to build the kind of village and real connection that many of us may be missing in a bit city and away from what we call home.

It is a space to:

  • Reduce isolation and loneliness

  • Share wisdom across generations and cultures

  • Celebrate the many ways we give and receive love

  • Support emotional wellbeing through honest connection

  • Build lasting community and friendship

At its heart, this is about women showing up for one another with love, care, and genuine support.

Women’s Circle: Love Languages & Motherhood

Overview

Women’s Circle: Love Languages & Motherhood A free, warm, and inclusive gathering to connect through the shared journey of motherhood.

Women’s Circle: Love Languages & Motherhood

A warm, and inclusive gathering to connect through the shared journey of motherhood.

Whether you’re expecting a baby, caring for a toddler, or bringing the wisdom of a grandmother, this circle offers a nurturing space to talk, connect, and support one another—above all and without judgement.

Our sessions are designed with love and care: cushions and blankets for the group in a relaxed atmosphere, and play area for the little ones. Babies and toddlers are always welcome—so please come exactly as you are.

What to Expect

Each meet-up is a small, intimate, and relaxed gathering — more like an informal catch-up than a workshop. Some women come to share, others come to simply sit back and listen. All ways of being are welcome.

Each circle is gently guided by an evolving theme, often inspired by love languages across cultures and generations. Topics may include self-care, rest, and nurturing relationships, all held within the same intention: exploring the many ways love, care, and connection show up in motherhood and caregiving.

At each meet-up, I’ll invite a guest to join us — often a wellness practitioner or a woman with relevant lived experience — who’s there to sit in the circle, answer questions if they arise, or simply chat and share alongside you.

You’re welcome to share your own experiences and wisdom, offer support, or simply be present. There’s no pressure to participate in any particular way.

Sessions include:

  • A warm welcome and check-in

  • Open sharing and reflection

  • Light refreshments and informal connection

  • Optional gentle wellbeing practices

  • No pressure to speak—listening is just as valued

Who Is It For?

This circle welcomes women at all stages of the maternal journey:

Pregnant women

Mothers with babies or toddlers (little ones are welcome to join)

Grandmothers and maternal elders

Women seeking maternal connection and community

Come exactly as you are—talkative or quiet, tired or joyful, curious or cautious. This is a non-judgemental space where every voice and presence matters.

Why This Space Exists

Motherhood was never meant to be a solo journey.

Facilitated by Thaisa—a local mother and women’s wellness practitioner—this circle was created in response to a deep need for connection, shared wisdom, and belonging. In a world where many mothers raise children far from family or cultural support systems, this space offers a modern-day village.

Rooted in love, culture, and care, our circle brings together women of all backgrounds to share, reflect, and grow together.

Together, we aim to:

  • Reduce isolation and loneliness among mothers and caregivers

  • Revive intergenerational and intercultural parenting wisdom

  • Celebrate the diverse ways we express love and nurture our families

  • Support emotional wellbeing and resilience through honest sharing

  • Build lasting networks of friendship, trust, and mutual care

At its heart, this circle is about creating the community so many of us wish we had—and being that community for one another.

Love,

Thaisa
