What to Expect

Meet-ups are small and intimate and centres on a gentle, evolving theme inspired by the concept of love languages across cultures. Together, we’ll have open chats, support and hold space for each other and explore the many ways love and care are expressed in motherhood—whether through acts of service, words of affirmation, affection, physical touch, quality time, or nurturing rituals passed down through generations.

Each meet-up will gently unfold around a different aspect of love and connection, offering space for reflection, sharing, and learning from one another.

Sessions include:
• A warm welcome and check-in
• Open sharing and reflection
• Light refreshments and informal connection
• No pressure to speak—listening is just as valued

Who is it for?

This circle welcomes women of all backgrounds and stages of the maternal journey, including:

• Pregnant women
• Mothers with babies or toddlers
• Grandmothers and maternal elders
• Women seeking maternal connection and community

Come exactly as you are—talkative or quiet, tired or joyful, curious or cautious. This is a non-judgemental space where every voice and presence matters.

Why I have created this space for you?

Motherhood was never meant to be a solo journey.

Facilitated by me (Thaisa), a local mother and women’s wellness practitioner, this maternal circle was created in response to a deep and growing need: the need for connection, shared wisdom, and a sense of belonging. In today’s world—where many women raise children far from extended family or cultural support systems—this circle offers a modern-day “village.”

Rooted in love, culture, and care, this space invites mothers, grandmothers, and maternal figures of all backgrounds to come together in solidarity and reflection. It’s a place to be seen, heard, and supported—without judgment and without pressure.

Together, we aim to:

· Reduce isolation and loneliness among mothers and caregivers

· Revive intergenerational and intercultural parenting wisdom

· Celebrate the diverse ways we express love and nurture our families

· Support emotional wellbeing and resilience through honest sharing

· Build lasting networks of friendship, trust, and mutual care

At its heart, this circle is about creating the community so many of us wish we had—and being that community for others.

Love,

Thaisa
