About Me & my purpose…
Hi, I’m Thaisa — a massage and scar therapy practitioner, a mother, and a community builder. My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience, and by walking many of the same paths my clients often find themselves on.
My journey into this work began during a deeply transformative time: IVF, pregnancy during the height of the pandemic, and early postpartum — all while living with chronic pain linked to my hypermobile body.
The IVF process was emotionally and physically intense, followed by pregnancy during lockdown, with uncertainty, limited support, and a sense of isolation many people experienced during that time. My world became smaller, and my body often felt unfamiliar — overwhelmed, anxious, and uncomfortable.
Massage became a lifeline. It was one of the first spaces where I could slow down, feel safe, and reconnect with myself. Beyond easing physical tension, it helped regulate my nervous system and created space for calm, grounding, and emotional release.
After my son was born in 2021, my pain increased significantly. That’s when I began working with an osteopath who specialised in hypermobility. For the first time, I really understood my body. That understanding changed everything — it brought clarity, language, and the ability to care for myself with more compassion and confidence.
Now, I’m beginning to hold maternal circles to create space for women to feel seen and supported through similar transitions. I also have ADHD, which has helped me make sense of lifelong patterns — from overwhelm and sensitivity to deep creativity, intuition, and empathy.
With the right support, I’ve learned how to work with my nervous system rather than against it, and to recognise both the challenges and strengths in how I move through the world.
All of these experiences — infertility, pregnancy during a global pandemic, chronic pain, early motherhood, and neurodivergence — have shaped how I care for others. They’ve shown me that healing is not just physical, but emotional and relational too, and that feeling safe and understood is often where change begins.
This is why I created my practice and communities— to offer more than massage. To offer a space where people can pause, feel held, and reconnect with themselves through life’s more tender and complex transitions.
Whether you are navigating pregnancy, postpartum, fatigue, identity shifts, or simply feeling disconnected from your body — you are welcome here.
This is a space for care, reconnection, and rest.
A space where you don’t need to explain yourself.
A space where you can begin to feel like yourself again.
