Me and my purpose…
Hi, I’m Thaisa — a massage practitioner, mother, and community builder. I’ve walked many of the paths my clients are on.
My journey into this work began during a deeply vulnerable time: IVF, pregnancy during the height of the pandemic, and the early postpartum months — all while navigating chronic pain from hEDS (hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome).
In short, hEDS is a connective tissue disorder that causes joint instability, chronic pain, and fatigue — often invisible, but quite.
The IVF process was emotionally and physically intense. Then came pregnancy, during lockdowns and uncertainty, without access to the usual systems of care and connection. My world became very small, and my body felt foreign — heavy with anxiety, discomfort, and isolation.
Massage became a lifeline during that time. It was one of the few spaces where I felt safe enough to slow down, to feel, and to begin to reconnect with myself. It didn’t just support my body — it soothed my nervous system and held me through the emotional weight of it all. It was the first time in a while that I felt calm and a little more grounded and could better connect with my body.
After my son was born in 2021, the pain in my body became unbearable. That’s when I was lucky to find an osteopath who specialised in hypermobility. She helped me start to recover physically and, even more importantly, gave me knowledge and language I’d never had before. For the first time, I understood what was happening in my body and was better equipped to look after myself.
Fast forward 4 years and I am now starting maternal circles to hold space for other women who might be experiencing similar challenges. I am also in the process of being diagnosed with ADHD. It’s been like discovering a long-missing puzzle piece. Suddenly, so much is making more sense: my scattered thoughts, the overwhelm, the sensitivity — but also the creativity, the intuition, the depth. With more tools and support, I’m learning how to manage the more challenging symptoms — and embracing the ways my ADHD has actually been a superpower in building this business, connecting with others, and showing up with empathy and vision.
All of these personal experiences — infertility, pregnancy during a global pandemic, chronic pain, new motherhood, neurodivergence — have really helped shape the way I care for others. They’ve shown me that healing isn’t just physical. It’s emotional. It’s relational. It’s about being seen and supported exactly as you are.
That’s why I created this practice — not just to offer massage, but to hold space for people navigating complex, tender transitions. Whether you’re going through pregnancy, postpartum, identity shifts, fatigue, or just trying to feel at home in your body — you’re welcome here.
This is a space for care, reconnection, and rest.
A space where you don’t have to explain yourself.
You get to show up exactly as you are.
Because healing isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity.
And we all deserve spaces that remind us:
We’re not just surviving — we’re still becoming.
